About
Jane Z. Spadaro, MD, PharmD is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained ASOPRS oculoplastic and orbital surgeon.
Dr. Spadaro earned both her Doctor of Pharmacy and Medical degrees from Rutgers University. She graduated summa cum laude from pharmacy school and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honors society at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
She completed ophthalmology residency training at Yale New Haven Hospital, where she received the program's Academic Excellence Award, followed by a two-year American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) fellowship at Kahana Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery and Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital.
Dr. Spadaro currently practices oculoplastic and orbital surgery at Virginia Eye Consultants and Tidewater Eye Centers in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and serves as community faculty for the Department of Ophthalmology at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Her clinical and academic interests span eyelid surgery, orbital diseases, thyroid eye disease, tear duct disorders, periocular oncology and reconstruction, and aesthetic eyelid surgery. She also offers cosmetic treatments, including cosmetic injectables and laser skin resurfacing.
